2015--WHATS "IN" and whats out…

The Cactus
let there be cacti in the domestic home, flat, wall, garden and greenhouse. GREEN. Everything wild and plant-like.
They don't die-out… well as quick as a daisy may, and  do not pollinate over the floor.
Easy to keep. Come in a variety of colours and styles. Be authentic and place in terracotta pots.

FLARES…
Put those skinnies in the back of your cupboard and welcome
ABBA-style flares. Leaner and Longer.
Ciao  to those boyfriend jeans.

Celine Campaigns.
Think bare cheeks. And who doesn't want to be a bare faced beauty like Daria Werbowy? Obsessed with sporting a bare-faced look, hair scraped back, and a vibrant shiny face. Investment in brilliant face creams for a fresh face.

XX.
Is it now acceptable to not sign off on 'xxxxx'?? it seems 'xx' is too over friendly these days. Basically- no one's signing off with kisses any more.

AVOCADO. ANTI-DETOX
No more photos of avocado on toast please- whether its smashed, sliced or mixed with a something something. We get its very healthy. But please, just pass the butter dish. Word on the street- Cauliflower is the new kale.

I AM ANONYMOUS
hence my name- mancolerose.
the last few years has seen an insta and social media crayzzz.
lets protect our identity. secretive is sexy.

PINKY @ GUY BOURDIN

----lets start with a new years resolution----
1) to get back to the blog.
to keep you updated on my "exciting" life.
#thelifeastheintern was soo 2012)

In my pink SANDRO coat. at Sommerset House.

I entered the sensual world of the fashion photographer
_Guy Bourdin_

GUY BOURDIN; Film, Paintings and Polaroids

a little bit twisted.
But I can't fault the contradictory move away, from the stylish and beautiful photography of the 60's.

half cut legs? whats this about? I want to find out more.

Intriguing…??

The 70s. heightened & enhanced.

A few sexual connotations.

A little bit crude. Pushing boundaries.

DEATH. VIOLENCE. FETISHISM
What Bourdin bought to the pages of Vogue.

I come away intrigued by the images of the "70's/80's" period. Fascinated with the stories around the photographs
Yet a little confused as to what they mean…

Therefore, I leave you with a photograph like this one above… lily-pads on a vagina.

Goodbye

BOYS IN SUITS

A play with contemporary and European culture... it was a mix of traditional and modern, old and new.

It was an experience of Edinburgh;  the galleries, the nightlife, the beaches and the atmosphere

Hints of "Bohemian"
