I do quite like this quote:
"I use fashion as an excuse to talk about things in broader cultural terms because that's
where my interests lie"

hey pretty ladiess...
:) Hi :)
Its been a while folks. Serious exam "cramming" has been on the agenda..
The geek that I am, I am upset.. my first unit of History of Art is over :( I enjoyed the 1945-1970 period of Abstract/POP art, and the 1860-1900 French avant garde approaches and styles of painting.
"love is in the air..."
I have found LOVE for Paul Gauguin and Claude Monet. Shortly followed by the here and now kinda guys; Mark Rothko and my favourite, Robert Rauschenberg- what artists they all are, no different to Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin in today's century!
But for now, I keep my head down..
Goodbye french painting, goodbye abstract art
hello to history of fashion, textiles and architecture!
